Quote

We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at the sea. We are far too easily pleased.
— C.S. Lewis

A starved dog found a bone in its path. It took the bone to a safe, solitary place and chewed it for a long time till the bone was hollow, the marrow gone, and . A nearby shop owner saw the dog and his rotting bone. He took pity on the dog by leaving scraps of food out for him to eat. But the dog had become so attached to the bone, he would not part with it until he soon died of starvation.

Each unique, similar but not one the same
And history progresses till all the acts have run

Maybe…

not everyone is fated to find their passion. Some people find it and others will wait their whole life and the moment never comes.
Sort of Unfair..

“I’ve been fortunate enough to feel like that before, and I can tell you that you don’t find moments like that, they find you.

“He saved others,” they said, “but he can’t save himself! He’s the King of Israel! Let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him. - Matthew 27:42

If I was Jesus and heard that taunt, I would have happily fulfilled the request and floated off that cross; the loud-mouthed boasts and smirks of condescension slowly evolving into fear as their bodies rip apart.
But Jesus, why? It makes no sense. What good did you see in us that you managed to bear through it all?

Love that conquers all.
